Point Lowly (near Whyalla)

Where I am right now..
Sitting in my camp chair at the waters edge. Sun setting behind us, turning the southern Flinders Ranges purple, the clouds lavender and the sky light blue to pink. The Spencer Gulf ripples, reflecting the sky. The boys are playing at the waters edge, picking up rocks and looking for crab shells. There are many people camped in caravans here but it is surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Maybe because we're the only ones with kids.
This is a very special spot, you can camp in many spots along this headland, even here on the beach and the council only charges $5 per night. There are flushing toilets and a cold shower. Also there's a lighthouse which we'll check out tomorrow.
Now I'd better get back to relaxing.
