So as it turns out we didn't just shred a tyre. We also busted some spring in the trailer suspension. We noticed on the way into town this morning that the trailer was leaning to the left, a lot, and it didn't have anything to do with the tyre pressure.
We got fitted with the new truck tyres but the mechanic/ engineer was finishing up for Easter so can't fix the suspension until next Wednesday.
Somehow we managed to get one of the last camping spots in the Cape Range National Park so we're here for a week. Lazing about, swimming and snorkelling at Turquoise Bay and battling the heat.
We'll fall asleep to the waves breaking on Ningaloo Reef. What a hard life.
